The one standing out for me today is Eastern Aria in the 4:00 race.

Stayed on well when stepped up to 12 furlongs for the first time in the Plantation Stud Stakes at Newmarket earlier this month and may well find more with the extra 2 furlongs she faces today.

Obviously likes it here at Goodwood, winning on the two occasions she has raced here.

A tough race but she looks value to me at odds around 9/1

I think Mister Manannan has a better chance than his price suggests in the sprint at 2.45. He started slowly in the King's Stand and was given a very easy time towards the end of the race so I think that effort is best ignored. He finished 2nd in the Molecomb here last year and he's a lot less exposed than some of these. The form of the race he finished 3rd in at Haydock has worked out quite well too. I've seen a lot worse 20/1 shots.

For goodwood Piscean is a 4 times winner here and is well drawn, value at 10/1.

Electrolyser looks over priced at 33/1 being progressive, goes fresh and was entered in the Gold cup at Ascot.

My glorious nap of the day though is Spoken in the 3.45 at Nottingham. looks well in at the weights, slight draw advantage and can follow up against mainly older horses. 7/2
