Weekend Horse Racing Preview

Saturday’s Racing
This Saturday brings us seven meetings in total with action from Ascot, Bangor-On-Dee, Chepstow, Fairyhouse, Hexham, Musselburgh and Wolverhampton. Wolves is an evening meeting, kicking off at 6.50pm and is live on At The Races. There are five live races on BBC1 and eight live on Channel 4, so plenty of action for the armchair punter to get their teeth into.

The race of the day is the ladbrokes.com Stakes at Ascot. This Class 2 Heritage Handicap has over £46,000 on offer to the winner and sees a host of this season’s top handicappers go to post including Young Mick, Drill Sergeant and Allied Powers.

You can get all the latest tips and news on the weekend’s racing from our horse racing forum.

Scoop 6
The Scoop 6 wasn’t won yet again last Saturday. The win fund stood at £279,530 last week so will be huge tomorrow. Save your lottery money and have £2 on this instead. Check out our Scoop 6 guide if you want to know exactly how the popular Tote bet works.

The Scoop 6 races are all live on Channel 4 apart from the 2.20 at Ascot which is on BBC1. The races are as follows;

2.10 Musselburgh
2.20 Ascot
2.25 Bangor
3.15 Musselburgh
3.30 Ascot
4.05 Ascot
